(KPL) The June National Assembly’s meeting was opened in Vientiane yesterday under the chairmanship of its Vice President, Saysomphone Phomvihane.
The meeting which is being held from 8-10 June will debate several draft laws for the 9th NA session, 7th legislature, including a draft laws to combat internet crimes, a law on education, a law on the National Assembly, a law on local National Assemblies and a law on National Assembly member elections.

The meeting which is being held from 8-10 June will debate several draft laws for the 9th NA session, 7th legislature, including a draft laws to combat internet crimes, a law on education, a law on the National Assembly, a law on local National Assemblies and a law on National Assembly member elections.
They will also listen to a report on the activities of the Office of the Supreme People’s Prosecutor for 2014-2015 and its plan for 2015-2016; a report on nutrition monitoring; a report on currency policy implementation and a report on the Don Sahong hydropower project.
The three day meeting will also consider making appointments for some positions for the National Assembly office.
