(KPL) Laos will host the ASEAN Football Confederation Under 16 (AFC U-16) Championship 2016 Qualifiers at the National Sports Complex at Km 16 in Vientiane Capital from 12-20 September.
Laos has been listed in Group G along with Malaysia, the Philippines, the Northern Mariana Islands and Timor-Leste.
“Laos will begin its competition with the Philippines on 12 September at 19:00 pm, followed by Northern Mariana on 16 September at 19:00 pm, Timor-Leste on 18 September and Malaysia on 20 September,” said Mr Viphet Sihachack, the President of the Lao Football Federation at a press conference in Vientiane Capital on 9 September.

"The AFC U-16 Championship will enable our National Football Team to gain valuable experience before 2017, while also giving us a great opportunity to test our organisational capabilities before the FIFA U 17 World Cup in 2017 in India.”
The final is scheduled for 20 September. All the matches that Lao National Football Team plays will be broadcast via Lao National Television Channel 3.
The tickets available for 10,000 kip can be purchased at the National Sports Complex at Km 16.
