(KPL) Twenty finalists of the Miss Grand Laos 2017pageant have been announced for the final round to be held at the 7th floor of Lao ITECC Mall in Vientiane on July 15.
The announcement was made at Vientiane Centre on June 13 in the presence of the President of TV Lao Hongkham Souvannavong, representatives of the Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism and local media.
Out of the twenty finalists, Miss Grand Laos number MG10 has withdrawn from the Miss Grand Laos Contestdue to her mother’s illness.
The Miss Grand Lao 2017 Contest is aimed at promoting the advancement of women, disseminating the fineLao traditional culture, the customs of Laos, promoting the ability of Lao youth and raising the reputation of Laos inthe world.
At the announcement ceremony, Bountem Gold and Jewelry shop handed over a crown worth 50 million kip to the Organising Committee for the Miss Grand Laos Contest.
The Final round of the Miss Grand Lao 2017 Contest will be held in Vientiane Capital on July 15 and the winner of the contest will be awarded a crown worth 50 million kip and will have the chance to join the Miss Grand International 2017 pageant.
The final round of the contest will be live streamed on the Facebook page of Miss Grand Laos 2017, start at 7P.M. on July 15.
Tickets are available at the venue for those who want to witness the final round of Miss Grand Laos 2017.
The general public can vote for Miss Popular Vote by texting the number of their preferred candidate to 1481 of Lao Telecom and ETL mobile networks.
