(KPL) Xaysana Khotphouthone, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of Khammouane Province, received a courtesy visit from Sinoy Mokosi, Head of the Health and Nutrition Programme (Lao 035) of the Luxembourg Agency for Development Cooperation (LuxDev), and her delegation on Feb 24, 2026.
The meeting, held at the provincial administration office, was also attended by Vice Chairman of the Provincial Administration Committee Detsakda Manichanh and representatives of relevant departments.
Mr. Xaysana extended a warm welcome and expressed appreciation for the programme’s contributions to socio-economic development and public health improvement in the province.
Dr. Mokosi briefed provincial leaders on the feasibility of constructing a new Khammouane Provincial Hospital, a project aimed at strengthening healthcare services and expanding access to quality treatment for local residents.
She also congratulated Mr. Xaysana on his appointment and expressed confidence in continued cooperation and support from provincial authorities for Luxembourg-supported health and nutrition initiatives in the years ahead.
