On August 26, at the headquarters of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam in Hanoi, Mr. Tô Lâm, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, received Mr. Vanxay Phongsavanh, Politburo Member of the Central Committee of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission, President of the State Inspection Authority and Head of the Central Anti-Corruption Authority of the Lao PDR.
(KPL) On August 26, at the headquarters of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam in Hanoi, Mr. Tô Lâm, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, received Mr. Vanxay Phongsavanh, Politburo Member of the Central Committee of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission, President of the State Inspection Authority and Head of the Central Anti-Corruption Authority of the Lao PDR.
The meeting took place during Mr. Vanxay Phongsavanh’s official visit and working trip to Viet Nam.
Mr. Tô Lâm warmly welcomed Mr. Vanxay Phongsavanh and the high-level Lao delegation, stressing that the visit was significant in further strengthening the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, States and peoples of Laos and Viet Nam.
He highly valued the close cooperation between the inspection bodies of the two countries and encouraged both sides to continue exchanging experiences and lessons learned, particularly in inspection, supervision and anti-corruption work. He also called for further efforts to improve the quality and effectiveness of inspection personnel.
Mr. Vanxay Phongsavanh expressed sincere gratitude for the warm and respectful reception. He reaffirmed that the Party, State and people of Laos attach great importance to preserving, strengthening and continuously deepening the long-standing, stable and comprehensive relations between Laos and Viet Nam.
