President Receives Vietnam’s NA Vice Chairman

ຂປລ (KPL) On Jul 5, President Thongloun Sisoulith received a courtesy visit from Vice Chairman of the National Assembly of Vietnam Nguyen Khac Dinh on the occasion of his working visit to the Lao PDR. President Thongloun highly valued the visit by Nguyen Khac Dinh and his delegation which has brought friendship from senior leaders of the Parties, National Assembly, government, and people of Vietnam to the Party, government and people of Laos.

(KPL) On Jul 5, President Thongloun Sisoulith received in Vientiane a courtesy visit from Vice Chairman of the National Assembly of Vietnam Nguyen Khac Dinh on the occasion of his working visit to the Lao PDR.

President Thongloun highly valued the visit by Nguyen Khac Dinh and his delegation which has brought friendship from senior leaders of the Parties, National Assembly, government, and people of Vietnam to the Party, government and people of Laos.

This visit also provided a good opportunity for both sides to exchange lessons on the revision of the 2015 Constitution of the Lao PDR, thus contributing significantly to strengthening and expanding the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, states, and peoples of Laos and Vietnam, particularly between the national legislative bodies of the two countries.

President Thongloun Sisoulith also asked the Vice Chairman of the National Assembly of Vietnam to extend his warm greetings and best wishes to Secretary-General of the Communist Party of Vietnam Nguyen Phu Trong, and President of Vietnam To Lam.

He wished the guest success in his working visit to the Lao PDR.

In reply, Nguyen Khac Dinh expressed his gratitude to the Party Secretary-General and President for his warm welcome.

He also informed the President about the purpose of his visit and the outcomes of the scientific seminar on constitutional amendment and the legislative research between the National Assemblies of Laos and Vietnam as well as his bilateral talks with President of the National Assembly of Laos Xaysomphone Phomvihane.
