(KPL) The Government has spent over 2 billion kip for improving the Oudomxay airport in preparation for the 10th National Games in Oudomxay Province to be held on 13-21 December.

(KPL) The Government has spent over 2 billion kip for improving the Oudomxay airport in preparation for the 10th National Games in Oudomxay Province to be held on 13-21 December.
The money was spent on improvement of its runway, a new terminal and other facilities for Oudomxay Airport to improve services and provide greater convenience and safety.
The expenditure ensures better facilities and increased safety for landing aircraft and passengers who come to attend the 10th National Games.
The improved runway can support the airplane “ATR 72 with 70 seats.” The improved airport was officially handed over on 14 November, in the presence of Oudomxay Governor, Mr Khamla Lingnasone and General Director of the Airport Management Department, Mr Somboun Daosavanh.
