(KPL) Badminton players of the KT Badminton Club have grabbed three gold, two silver and four bronze medals at the 16th National Badminton Competition, held on Aug 4-7 at the Beuangkha-nhong Indoor Stadium, Vientiane Capital.

(KPL) Badminton players of the KT Badminton Club have grabbed three gold, two silver and four bronze medals at the 16th National Badminton Competition, held on Aug 4-7 at the Beuangkha-nhong Indoor Stadium, Vientiane Capital.
In total, the KT Badminton Club players have won nine medals in men’s doubles, women’s doubles, U-45 men’s doubles, men’s singles, and mixed doubles.
The 16th National Badminton Competition drew badminton players from 10 provinces nationwide who competed in five categories including U-16 men’s doubles, women’s doubles, U-35 women’s doubles, U-45 men’s doubles and mixed doubles.
The Montha Toulath Club won one gold medal in the U-16 men’s doubles, one in the U-16 women’s doubles, and one in men’s singles, while the Khammuan players won one medal in the women’s singles category.
The award ceremony was held on Aug 7 in the presence of Vice President of the National Assembly Bounpone Bouttanavong, Secretary of the Lao National Badminton Federation Thongla Sengvixay, Sales Manager of the Lao Brewery Company Khamsone Phenglattanavong, and participating athletes.
