(KPL) On 13 September, Luxembourg handed over blood cold chain equipment valued at 2 million Euros to the Lao Red Cross in Vientiane.
This donation, provided through the Health and Nutrition Programme (LAO/035), aims to improve blood transfusion services across Laos.
The equipment will ensure safe storage and transport of blood products nationwide, helping meet the country’s growing demand for blood donations.
The handover ceremony was attended by key officials from the Lao government and Luxembourg, highlighting the strong partnership between the two countries in enhancing healthcare services.
