Over the past six months, the ministry has inspected 1,091 labour units with a total of over 12,500 workers, looking into their labor contracts, bylaws, safety and health standards, as well as wages and welfare of their employees.

The ministry also established a committee responsible for registering workers and collecting data on labor to enter into the tax revenue management database system (TaxRIS) and strengthening the capacity building of provincial staff across the country.
