Prime Minster presented Honorary Doctoral Degree

KPL (KPL) Prime Minister Thongloun Sisoulith has been presented with an honorary doctoral degree for Business Administration by Rajamangala University of Technology Isan (Khon Kaen Campus) in recognition of his outstanding performance in national development over the past years.

           

(KPL)  Prime Minister Thongloun Sisoulith has been presented with an honorary doctoral degree for Business Administration by Rajamangala University of Technology Isan (Khon Kaen Campus) in recognition of his outstanding performance in national development over the past years.

The degree was presented to Prime Minister Thongloun by Dr. Surakiart Sathirathai, Chairman of the University Council of the Rajamangala University of Technology Isan.

Following being presented with the honorary degree, Prime Minister Thongloun gave a lecture at the College of Local Administration, Khon Kaen University, on the topic “Lao PDR - towards development future”.   

The prime minister was also awarded the Third Class Development Medal of the Thai-Laos Friendship Association.  Ten members of the association were also awarded Friendship Crosses in recognition of their contributions to mobilizing support for human resource development including for the development of school infrastructure, thus contributing to enhancing the relations and cooperation between Laos and Thailand. 

A baci ceremony and dinner reception were also held in honour of Prime Minister Thongloun, his spouse and delegation by the College of Local Administration on the same day.
