(KPL) Lao Art Museum, located in Nonsa-at Village, Saythany District, Vientiane stands as a powerful tribute to Laos’ artistic heritage, showcasing traditional Lao woodcarvings and promoting cultural sustainability for future generations.

Founded by Phisith Sayathith, the museum is more than just a gallery space. “The Lao Art Museum is more than a gallery of artistic works. It is a profound testament to our culture, blending traditional and modern artistry to inspire unity and pride,” said Sayathith, who has been instrumental in transforming a simple vision into a national cultural landmark.

The museum traces its roots back to a small art exhibition held in 2018. The positive response from visitors and support from the Vientiane Administration and the government helped shape that early concept into a fully realized museum. Today, it is envisioned as a dynamic hub for cultural preservation, artistic exploration, and international tourism.
