Vice President of the Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Thanongsin Kanlaya gave a view at the meeting between the Lao-China Cultural Tourism Promotion Association and the delegation of the China Tourism Council recently.

He said the business in the service sector also helps to continue to expand the development of economic and social progress of the country as well as various regions in the world.


He called for promotion of peace, sustainable security and an excellent environment for business development, trade-investment cooperation up to the promotion of tourism which is progressive and exemplary especially in the era of green development, The Lao government has given an importance, as a priority and focus of development, responsible for society, the environment and the lifestyle of the people according to each locality and each culture that is diverse in the two countries of Laos and China.

Visas exemption  for tourists from China and other countries have increased the convenience of visas and increased the length of stay for tourists visiting Laos, with the coordination of all stakeholders, these decisions will spur businesses related to the tourism service sector in our countries.

The meeting between the Lao-China Cultural Tourism Promotion Association and the China Tourism Council is an excellent opportunity to simultaneously improve and develop services to meet the standards of both quality and quantity, hygiene, cleanliness, and safety of tourists including preserve the beauty of the culture, customs and lifestyle of the local community, it is a contribution to the continued development of green tourism in our country, which will increase the value and benefit for a long time.
