ຂປລ Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone welcomed Mr. Leung Chun-ying, Vice-Chairperson of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and Chairman of GX Foundation, along with his delegation, during their visit to Laos.


(KPL) Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone welcomed Mr. Leung Chun-ying, Vice-Chairperson of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and Chairman of GX Foundation, along with his delegation, during their visit to Laos.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Sonexay expressed appreciation for Leung Chun-ying’s visit, highlighting its significance in strengthening bilateral cooperation, particularly in the health sector.

He commended GX Foundation’s support in public health initiatives, including anti-dengue programs and cataract surgery projects, which have contributed to improving the well-being of the Lao people.

Mr. Leung Chun-ying thanked Prime Minister Sonexay for the warm reception and reiterated his commitment to further enhancing health sector collaboration between Laos and China.
