(KPL) Sekong province expected to attract 50,000 domestic and foreign tourist arrivals during the Visit Laos Year 2024.
According to the Deputy Head of Sekong’s Information, Culture and Tourism Department, Mr Khamsone Kongner told at a press conference on January 17.
Sekong planned to organise the annual festivals of ten tribes respectively, celebrations of city pillar, Ongkeo monument, on 21-24 January, which expected to attract more tourists.
He said the Visit Laos Year 2024 Sekong scheduled to take place on January 24.
Currently, Sekong province has a total of 42 tourist attraction sites, of which 22 are natural tourist sites, 7 are cultural sites, 9 historical sites and 4 are agricultural tourist sites.
there are 8 hotels, 33 guest houses, 19 restaurants and 2 entertainment stores.
