(KPL) On January 8, 2026, at the National Convention Hall, Star Telecom (Unitel) presented a contribution of 1.2 billion Lao Kip to support the preparations and organization of the 12th National Congress of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party.
The donation was presented by Brigadier General Soubanh Phanthavy, Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Director General of Star Telecom Co., Ltd., together with his delegation. The contribution was officially received by Mr. Saleumxay Kommasith, Member of the Party Central Committee Political Bureau and Deputy Prime Minister, along with relevant officials.
The contribution reflects Unitel’s strong sense of responsibility and commitment to supporting an important political event of the Party and the nation. The funds will be used to assist logistical and organizational activities to ensure the successful convening of the 12th National Party Congress.
This support once again highlights Unitel’s role as a leading enterprise that actively contributes to national development and stands alongside the Party, the State, and the Lao people.
