(KPL/Prensa Latina)  Russia's General Customs Administration announced on Monday that the People's Republic of China has begun to buy more metals from Russia, especially titanium, Vedemosti newspaper reported.

The data indicate that the sales of this metal to China last year increased by 44 percent to reach 3,700 tons.

They were mainly deliveries of finished products. At the same time, in monetary terms, exports decreased by almost one and a half percent and are estimated at 89 million dollars.

Industry expert Leonid Khazanov attributes the increase of titanium products from Russia to China to developing sectors such as aircraft construction, chemicals, and energy.

In this regard, Russian titanium exports to China could grow by another 15 percent in 2025.
