KPL On December 30, 2024, President Thongloun Sisoulith sent a message of condolences to Mr. Choi Sang-mok, Acting President of the Republic of Korea, regarding the plane crash at Muan International Airport in southwestern Korea on December 29, 2024.


(KPL) On December 30, 2024, President Thongloun Sisoulith sent a message of condolences to Mr. Choi Sang-mok, Acting President of the Republic of Korea, regarding the plane crash at Muan International Airport in southwestern Korea on December 29, 2024.

The message read:

"I am deeply saddened to learn about the plane crash at Muan International Airport in southwestern Korea on December 29, 2024, which caused significant loss of life and property.

On behalf of the government and people of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, as well as in my own name, I extend my heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathies to Your Excellency, and through you to the government and people of the Republic of Korea, especially to the victims and their families affected by this tragic incident.

I firmly believe that with the close attention of the Republic of Korea government, the Korean people will overcome this difficult time and return to normalcy soon."
