(KPL) FBT Sporting Goods will support the Lao National Football Federation with sportswear and equipment worth 28 million Thai baht (almost US$800,000) for the next four years.
The signing ceremony for the sportswear and equipment was held in Vientiane Capital on November 21 between Acting President of the Lao National Football Federation Mr Paxatxay Philaphandeth, and Managing Director the FBT Sporting Goods Mr Monchai Chokephaibulkit.
FBT will provide the sportswear and equipment for four years from 2016 to 2019. FBT will provide sportswear and equipment worth 7 million baht a year. The sportswear and equipment will be provided to players for all sporting events.
“The sponsorship will be part of the development circle of the Lao National Football Teams and the development of the Lao football circle,” said Mr Paxadxay.
Mr Paxadxay thanked FBT for its kind support to the federation.
FBT helped support the Lao National Football Federation as it prepared its athletes to compete at the 2009 SEA Games and continued to support the Lao National Football Federation with 4 million Thai baht from 2012-2016 with an additional 5 million Thai baht provided over the last two years.
On the same day, FBT also signed an agreement to support the National Olympic Committee of Laos with sportswear and equipment worth 10 million Thai baht (over US$280,000) from 2017 through 2020.
