for National Construction was held on Nov 11
(KPL) Party Secretary General and State President Bounnhang Vorachit has expressed appreciation to the Lao Front for National Construction for its achievements recorded over the past half decade and especially its efforts in enhancing solidarity among Lao multi-ethnic people.
The Party Secretary also spoke highly of the Front’s efforts in encouraging Lao multi-ethnic people to take part in implementing the policy of the Party and the national socio-economic development plan of the government and maintaining peace and stability in the country.
The 4th General Meeting of the Party Cell of the Lao Front for National Construction was held on Nov 11. The one-day meeting was chaired by the President of the Lao Front for National Construction Xaysomphone Phomvihane.
The meeting was attended by 81 full party members including 19 females. The meeting witnessed the approval of the political report of the Front which evaluated the performance of the Front over the past five years, especially its efforts in implementing the resolution of the 3rd general meeting of its Party cell.
The meeting also witnessed its participants approving the plan of the Front laying out overall targets and priorities for the next five years (2016-2020).
The participants of the meeting also elected the new nine-member Party committee of the Lao Front for National Construction, which was led by its former secretary Xaysomphone Phomvihane.
