(KPL) On August 11–12, 2025, the Party Central Committee’s Propaganda and Training Committee, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, organized an exhibition of mass media and publishing products to mark the 75th anniversary of Mass Media and Publishing Day.
The event was attended by Mr. Laopaosong Navongxay, Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee’s Propaganda and Training Committee, along with deputy ministers, heads of departments, deputy heads, leaders, former leaders, and representatives from mass media organizations across all sectors.
On this occasion, Mr. Vansy Kuamua, Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism, stated that the mass media and publishing products exhibition was not only a symbol of success, but also a reflection of the continuous growth of the sector. Over the past 75 years, the Lao mass media and publishing sector has progressed from the traditional printing era to the modern digital age.
He emphasized that mass media work is not only a means of delivering information, but also an important tool for preserving and promoting culture, fostering education, and serving as a voice for national unity and harmony.
The exhibition featured products from 31 Lao mass media outlets, including 12 print media organizations and 19 electronic media outlets. The event showcased the creativity, commitment, and steady development of the Lao mass media, while also serving as a platform for exchange, inspiration, and cooperation aimed at advancing the sector to new heights.
