KPL (KPL) Phutawen Farm is going to open its visitor-oriented farm to agrotourists early next month with an aim to record an inflow of 1 million visitors every month.

(KPL) Phutawen Farm is going to open its visitor-oriented farm to agrotourists early next month with an aim to record an inflow of 1 million visitors every month.

“The opening of the Phutawen Farm aims to welcome Visit Laos Year 2018 and promote sustainable food production and agro-tourism in the Lao PDR,” Ms Dalounny Douangpaseuth, Vice President of DPS Group, founder of Phutawen told a press conference on Nov 6.

The Phutawen Farm will feature recreational activities namely farm tours, cycling, and camping.  

Visitors can enjoy a combination of agriculture and nature, watching blossoming sunflowers and cosmos fields, as well as picking and buying fresh vegetables, including, among others, tomatoes, leafy salad vegetable, and cucumber.

“As for this year, we expect one million visitors will visit our farm every month between December 2017 and March 2018,” said Ms Dalounny.

The Phutawen Farm is located at Ban Hai, Pak-ngum district, Vientiane Capital or a 90-minute drive from Vientiane Capital downtown.

Entrance fee will be 15,000 kip for weekday visitors and 25,000 kip for weekend outdoor goers.
