(KPL) Lane Xang United Football Club on 9 March launched this year’s team, comprised of both former and new players, for the 2016 season.
The launching ceremony was held at the Lane Xang Indoor Sport Centre in Vientiane Capital and drew of the President of the Lane Xang United Football Club, Mr Phanthachith and sponsors.
The Lane Xang United Football Club was established in 2014. The target of the football club is to develop the Lao football circle to be world-class quality and to upgrade football players so that they can compete at the AFF or AFC level.
The Lane Xang United Football Club is a professional Lao football club that is one of the 12 teams falling under Laos’ Premier League.
Mr. Phanthachit said they would provide both the opportunity and motivation to young football players to come and master the game for both domestic and foreign competitions.
We will do our best to compete in the Lao Premier League 2016 and upgrade Lao football to compete both in the country and at the international level.
Mr. Phanthachit, on behalf of Lane Xang United’s management team, players and fans, would like to express the team’s deep appreciation to all of the sponsors for their support of the football players to participate in the 2016 season.
