PSC Delegation Extends International Women’s Day Greetings to NA Vice President

KPL On the occasion of the 116th anniversary of International Women's Day (March 8, 1910 – March 8, 2026), Dr. Anong Gnoysaikham, Vice President of the People’s Supreme Court of Laos, led a delegation to extend congratulations and best wishes to Dr. Sounthone Xayachack, Vice President of the National Assembly of Laos.

(KPL) On the occasion of the 116th anniversary of International Women's Day (March 8, 1910 – March 8, 2026), Dr. Anong Gnoysaikham, Vice President of the People’s Supreme Court of Laos, led a delegation to extend congratulations and best wishes to Dr. Sounthone Xayachack, Vice President of the National Assembly of Laos.

The visit was held to express respect and appreciation for Dr. Sounthone Xayachack as a prominent female leader and role model for women in the country.

During the meeting, discussions highlighted the importance of promoting gender equality, strengthening women’s leadership roles, and enhancing women’s participation in the legislative sector, which contribute significantly to national development in Laos.

Dr. Sounthone Xayachack expressed her sincere thanks and warmly welcomed the delegation. She also commended the People’s Supreme Court for its achievements in handling cases, emphasizing its commitment to efficiency, transparency and justice, which play an important role in delivering justice to the Lao people.

On the occasion, Dr. Anong Gnoysaikham extended her best wishes to Dr. Sounthone Xayachack for good health, happiness and continued success in her leadership and contributions to advancing the role and status of Lao women in society.
