(KPL/Prensa Latina) With a supreme decree (DS) in preparation, the National Council for Economic and Social Policy (CONAPE) is preparing for the transition from the current Executive to the elected one, Vice Minister of Government Coordination Gustavo Torrico affirmed.
“The decree is being discussed at CONAPE during the transition because several issues, including the representation expenses, guests, and logistics, must be considered, and that is why the decree is being issued,” the vice minister affirmed.
He explained that the DS aims to establish the mechanisms for the orderly transition from the Constitutional Government to the elected one, which includes the organization of committees and working teams for the delivery of information in the State ministries.
The regulation will also establish the organization of the formal events related to the Presidential Transfer of Power, which include economic and logistical aspects, among others.
Torrico concluded, “The financing that the new Administration will need for guests and logistical movements, among others, must be facilitated.”
President-elect Rodrigo Paz, in turn, confirmed that the transition began in coordination with the Government of President Luis Arce to ensure an orderly process for the 2025-2030 term.
Paz noted that there are only three weeks, 20 days, to complete this entire process by November 8.
