KPL On Nov 20 Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone warmly welcomed Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Phumtham Wechayachai who is on a visit to Laos to participate in the 18th ASEAN Defence Ministers' Meeting (ADMM) held in Vientiane.

(KPL) On Nov 20 Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone warmly welcomed Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Phumtham Wechayachai who is on a visit to Laos to participate in the 18th ASEAN Defence Ministers' Meeting (ADMM) held in Vientiane.

On this occasion, Prime Minister Sonexay expressed his appreciation for Deputy Prime Minister Phumtham’s visit to the Lao PDR to attend the 18th ADMM.

He emphasized the significance of this meeting in strengthening ASEAN cooperation, particularly in defense, as well as in fostering the bilateral relations and collaboration between Laos and Thailand across various sectors.

He further expressed hope that the cooperation in defense between the two nations would continue to grow and yield even greater results in the future.

Deputy Prime Minister Phumtham thanked Prime Minister Sonexay for the warm welcome extended to him and his delegation. He also briefed the Prime Minister on the objectives of his visit to Laos and plans for participating in the 18th ADMM.
