The ranking is as follows: 1.Indonesia 27 daays, 2. Cambodia 22 days, 3. Myanmar 19 day, 4. Philippines 18 days, 5 Thailand 18 days, 6. Brunei 16 days, 7. Malaysia 16 days, 8. Vietnam 15 days, 9. Singapore 11 days, 10. Laos 9 days.
In
particular, the data for Indonesia reflects the diversity of its
culture and religion, celebrating numerous festivals and important days.
Conversely, the fewer public holidays in Laos indicate a scheduling and
allocation of holidays that align with the country’s unique social,
economic, and cultural contexts within ASEAN.
Despite
the differences, countries with more holidays often show robust
economic growth and spending, especially in the tourism sector.
