Tech-Innovation Laos - Vietnam 2023 to be held next month

KPL (KPL) The Ministry of Technology and Communications in cooperation with the Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam will organise the Tech-Innovation Laos - Vietnam 2023 at the International Convention and Training Centre (ICTC), Vientiane on April 4-5.

(KPL) The Ministry of Technology and Communications in cooperation with the Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam will organise the Tech-Innovation Laos - Vietnam 2023 at the International Convention and Training Centre (ICTC), Vientiane on April 4-5.

“The exhibition aims to promote cooperation on the use and transfer of technology and innovation and partnership between research institutes and enterprises of the two countries, strengthen comprehensive cooperation based on the spirit of great friendship, and time-honoured special solidarity between Laos and Vietnam as well as to build connections between Vietnamese researchers and innovation and technology developers and Lao government organizations and businesses,” Minister of Technology and Communications Boviengkham Vongdara told a press conference on March 21.

Research institutes, education institutes, businesses and startups from Laos and Vietnam have been invited to participate in the exhibition which is expected to draw over 60 booths representing ICT, digital technology, renewable energy, waste treatment, food reservation and processing technology, tourism, e-commerce, and innovation technology.

Research works and products from Lao and Vietnamese startups will also be presented at the exhibition which will also feature workshops, training, and discussions where public and private sector of the two countries can discuss cooperation on innovation ecosystem development.
