“About 95 per cent of population in these districts have been administered with Covid-19 vaccine according to the measures of Lao Travel Green Zone,” said Mr Vongdavone Vongxayalath, Head of Tourism Marketing Division, Luang Prabang Provincial Department of Information, Culture and Tourism.
“Right now, the tourism business operators are ready to welcome foreign tourists. Initially, 13 out of 33 hotels joining the LaoSafe programme will be open to visitors during the first phase of the Lao Travel Green Zone plan along with 33 restaurants, 30 tour companies, 16 tour van companies, and 26 tour boats,” Mr Vongdavone added.
