KPL (KPL) A two-day nationwide meeting of monks closed at the ICTC in Vientiane Capital on September 20 approving a new Executive Board of the Lao Buddhist Fellowship Organisation (LBFO).

(KPL) A two-day nationwide meeting of monks closed at the ICTC in Vientiane Capital on September 20 approving a new Executive Board of the Lao Buddhist Fellowship Organisation (LBFO).

            The new Executive Board consists of 75 monks, 17 members of its Standing Committee, and four Vice Presidents.

            The meeting was chaired by President of the LBFO, honorable monk Maha Ngong Damrongboun in the presence of President of Lao Front for National Construction, Mr Saysomphone Phomvihane, the President of the Vietnamese of Buddhist Organisation, over 550 monks from across the nation, and 147 qualified guests.
