(KPL) Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone has extended a congratulatory message to Takaichi Sanae on the occasion of her re-election as Prime Minister of Japan.
In his message, the Lao premier expressed confidence that Japan will continue to achieve progress and lasting prosperity under her leadership. He reaffirmed his commitment to further strengthening the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the Lao PDR and Japan for the mutual benefit of both peoples and for peace, stability and sustainable development in the region and the world.
Prime Minister Sonexay also conveyed appreciation to the Government and people of Japan for their continued support to the Lao PDR. He noted the significance of the 2025 visit of Princess Aiko, which contributed to enhancing bilateral cooperation, marking the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
He wished the Japanese prime minister good health, happiness and continued success in her duties.
