KPL At the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Prime Minister of the Lao PDR, Mr. Sonexay Siphandone, will lead a high-level delegation of government and business representatives to attend the 10th Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok, Russia, from September 3-6, 2025.

(KPL) At the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Prime Minister of the Lao PDR, Mr. Sonexay Siphandone, will lead a high-level delegation of government and business representatives to attend the 10th Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok, Russia, from September 3-6, 2025.

Held under the theme “The Far Eastern: Cooperation for Peace and Prosperity”, the forum aims to provide a platform for governments, politicians, business leaders, and experts to exchange views on strengthening cooperation and addressing global challenges.

During the visit, the Lao Prime Minister will deliver remarks at a plenary session alongside President Putin and hold discussions on a wide range of issues. He will also attend and chair the Lao PDR–Russia Business Forum, organized in parallel with the main conference, to promote cooperation between the business communities of both countries. The forum is expected to attract strong participation from enterprises in Laos and Russia, with a focus on expanding economic and trade ties.
