According to a warning issued by the provincial health office on May 16, poisonous mushrooms have killed seven people.
The provincial health office has called on local authorities to coordinate closely with health workers to monitor, collect, and promptly report mushroom poisoning cases to relevant agencies.
In addition, they are urged to lead public health education efforts, raising awareness about the dangers of consuming wild or unidentified mushrooms and other toxic foods.
Parents are advised to exercise caution when preparing meals, ensuring that all ingredients are safe for consumption.
The public is strongly warned to remain vigilant to help prevent further cases of mushroom poisoning.
