The Lao People's Army (LPA) Disaster Relief Task Force, led by Col. Phatthana Boutthichak, Deputy Director of the Office of the General Staff Department of the Lao People's Army, and National Disaster Management Coordinator, has successfully completed its earthquake relief mission in Mandalay, Myanmar, and safely returned to Vientiane on April 8.

(KPL) The Lao People's Army (LPA) Disaster Relief Task Force, led by Col. Phatthana Boutthichak, Deputy Director of the Office of the General Staff Department of the Lao People's Army, and National Disaster Management Coordinator, has successfully completed its earthquake relief mission in Mandalay, Myanmar, and safely returned to Vientiane on April 8.
The delegation was welcomed at Wattay International Airport by Brig. Gen. Bouasing Inthavong, Deputy Director of the General Logistics Department, along with senior officials from relevant departments.

Humanitarian Aid Provided
Before departing Myanmar, the LPA Disaster Relief Task Force handed over essential supplies, including tents, and field equipment, relief items totally valued at 252 million LAK to local authorities.
Additionally, the Government of the Lao PDR donated 3 tons of rice to Myanmar, presented by Bounphieng Chanthavong, Ambassador of the Lao PDR to Myanmar.
