Themed "People regard food as important," the event offered participants a taste of unique Lao and Chinese dishes and insights into the cultural and medicinal significance of food ingredients.

"This festival is a wonderful chance for students to experience China’s long-standing culinary heritage," said Mr. Desanulath Senduangdet, Acting Dean of the National University of Laos. “Beyond flavor, these foods carry the rich cultural traditions of diverse regions across China.” He highlighted the Confucius Institute’s role in fostering Lao-Chinese cultural exchanges and advancing language education, contributing significantly to bilateral cooperation.
