The improvement of labour skills development quality project is being conducted by the ministry in cooperation with factories in Vientiane. The project is designed to develop labour skills for unemployed people so that they can access employment and meet labour market demand.

“Labour skills training is a priority of the Labour and Social Welfare sector, crucial for the development of target workers so that they become skilled workers and access decent employment, graduating from poverty,” said Labour Skills Development Institute Director Bounma Sitthisome.
“The next step will be to make sure these people can access employment, labour market after they complete their training,” said Mr. Bounma Sitthisome.
