KPL (KPL) The Lao People's Army History Museum was officially opened here on December 13, after completing the restoration and updating the exhibition hall and prepare for the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Lao People's Army.

(KPL) The Lao People's Army History Museum was officially opened here on December 13, after completing the restoration and updating the exhibition hall and prepare for the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Lao People's Army.

The event was attended by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of National Defence, Lt. Gen Chansamone Chanyalath, Counselor of the Vietnamese Embassy to Laos Mr. Phan Minh Chien, along with the leaders of the Ministry of Defense.

Lt. Gen Chansamone Chanyalath said that the construction of this museum aims to improve the system of exhibition framework and various contents, create it as a historical center, collect objects, manage-preserve and organize an exhibition of the history of the Lao People's Army, the victorious achievements of the Lao People's Army under the leadership of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party for the masses of all classes, both domestic and foreign, to come to research, study and visit with the impression that the atmosphere is in real life in various historical events.

At present, the Lao People's Army has been the main source of power to protect the independence, sovereignty and complete territory of the nation to ensure political stability, order and social security, to protect the democratic regime of the people, the people of all ethnic groups and the beautiful culture of the nation.

The growth of the Lao People's Army from the day of its birth to the present is recorded in this Army History Museum, So that the next generation of youth can study and learn.
