KPL (KPL) The 21st Lao Handicrafts Festival 2022 is scheduled to be held at the Lao ITECC in Vientiane on Oct 15-23, according to a press conference on Sept 19.

(KPL) The 21st Lao Handicrafts Festival 2022 is scheduled to be held at the Lao ITECC in Vientiane on Oct 15-23, according to a press conference on Sept 19.

 This year expected that there will be about 230 booths including  textile and clothing stores, jewellery, court machines, ethnic pottery, paintings, wood carvings, furniture, Lao traditional food, herbs and others, Vice President of the Lao Handicrafts Association, Mr. Phouthong Xaysanith told at a press conference.

 The festival is to celebrate the coming 15th anniversary of the Lao Handicrafts Day on November 1 and the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Lao Handicrafts Association and to create an opportunity for the community and customers who come to visit and see a variety of Lao handicrafts, create an impression in the magic of hand painted wood by our Lao craftsman,  Mr Phouthong continued.

 It also gives an opportunity to artisans and entrepreneurs access the market, a place to sell their products and an opportunity to meet and share lessons, experiences in production, exhibition and sales.
