KPL On April 21, 2026, at the Lao Embassy in Hanoi, Khamphao Ernthavanh, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Lao PDR to Vietnam, received a farewell visit from Saadi Salama, Ambassador of Palestine to both Laos and Vietnam.

(KPL) On April 21, 2026, at the Lao Embassy in Hanoi, Khamphao Ernthavanh, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Lao PDR to Vietnam, received a farewell visit from Saadi Salama, Ambassador of Palestine to both Laos and Vietnam.

Mr. Salama, who also serves as Head of the Diplomatic Corps in Vietnam, is concluding his diplomatic mission after years of service. Having served as Ambassador of Palestine to the Lao PDR since 2009, he has developed a close and enduring connection with the country. During the meeting, he expressed his deep appreciation and admiration for the Lao people and their warm hospitality.

The Lao PDR and Palestine established diplomatic relations on May 15, 1989. Their diplomatic engagement continues to be coordinated through their respective embassies in Vietnam.
