The executive committee of the Lao National Football Federation has donated aid, including 4,000 winter jackets and 100 footballs, valued at 150 million kip, to Luang Prabang Province.
(KPL) The executive committee of the Lao National Football Federation has donated aid, including 4,000 winter jackets and 100 footballs, valued at 150 million kip, to Luang Prabang Province.
The handover ceremony took place at the Luang Prabang Provincial Department of Education and Sports on December 20, 2024.
The aid was presented by Viphet Sihachak, President of the Lao National Football Federation, and received by Sulideth Keoboualaphet, Director of the Luang Prabang Provincial Department of Education and Sports in the presence of representatives from both sides.
This donation aims to help alleviate the cold for students in remote areas and encourage greater participation in playing football. The Luang Prabang Provincial Department of Education and Sports will distribute the donated items to students in remote communities.
On the same occasion, Viphet Sihachak also provided educational supplies valued at 50 million kip to flood-affected villages in Viengkham District, Luang Prabang Province. The supplies were handed over to Sonesak Souliseum, a member of the Provincial People’s Council representing Viengkham District.
