The number included 1.23 million visitors from ASEAN (accounting for 58.5 per cent of the market share), 688,000 from Asia Pacific (representing a 32.6 per cent), 129,000 from Europe (6.1 per cent), and 52,200 from the Americas (accounting for 2.48 per cent).
Among tourists from ASEAN markets, Thais shared the majority of over 680,000 accounting for 32.25 per cent of the total number contributed by the region.
