Thai Prime Minister Arrives in Vientiane

KPL Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra arrived in Vientiane, Laos, this afternoon for an official visit.

(KPL) Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra arrived in Vientiane, Laos, this afternoon for an official visit. 

She was warmly welcomed at Wattay International Airport by Baykham Kattiya, Minister of Labour and Social Welfare, who also serves as an honorary minister.

This visit, at the invitation of Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone, aims to strengthen and expand the longstanding relationship and cooperation between the two neighboring countries. 

During the visit scheduled for Oct 8-11, Prime Minister Shinawatra is expected to meet with President Thongloun Sisoulith and President of the National Assembly, Xaysomphone Phomvihane. 

She will also participate in the 44th and 45th ASEAN Summits and related high-level meetings.
