President Welcomes Attorney General of Cuba

KPL On September 30, 2024, Mr Thongloun Sisoulith, Secretary General of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and President of the Lao PDR, warmly welcomed Mrs. Yamila Pena Ojeda, a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and Attorney General of Cuba. Mrs. Ojeda is on a working visit to Laos from September 28 to October 1, 2024.

(KPL) On September 30, 2024, Mr Thongloun Sisoulith, Secretary General of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and President of the Lao PDR, warmly welcomed Mrs. Yamila Pena Ojeda, a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and Attorney General of Cuba. Mrs. Ojeda is on a working visit to Laos from September 28 to October 1, 2024.
During the meeting, President Thongloun expressed a warm welcome and high appreciation for Mrs. Ojeda and her delegation, emphasizing the importance of this visit in strengthening the long-standing friendship, solidarity, and cooperation between the two countries, their governments, and their peoples. He highlighted that the ties between the two nations have become increasingly robust.
The President also wished Mrs. Ojeda and her delegation a successful and fruitful visit to Laos and a safe home trip.
In reply, Mrs. Yamila Peña Ojeda expressed her deep gratitude for the warm reception extended by President Thongloun. She also reported on the growing cooperation between the Attorney General’s Office of Cuba and the Supreme People´s Prosecutor Office of the Lao PDR.
