Minister of Planning and Investment Phet Phomphiphak recently received flood relief aid from several companies, amounting to 1.4 billion kip, to support those affected by the recent floods in northern provinces.
(KPL) Minister of Planning and Investment Phet Phomphiphak recently received flood relief aid from several companies, amounting to 1.4 billion kip, to support those affected by the recent floods in northern provinces.
The contributors included Phongsapthavy with a donation of 500 million kip, Lao China Xeng Hua Power Investment with 350 million kip, Houakhong 300 million kip, Duangchalern Development and Construction Group 150 million kip, and Asia Investment, Development and Construction 100 million kip.
On this occasion, Minister Phet Phomphiphak expressed his gratitude to the companies for their generous humanitarian contributions, noting that their support plays a critical role in Laos' response to natural disasters.
He also reassured donors that the funds will be used effectively to assist affected families, with the goal of restoring their livelihoods and bringing their lives back to normal as quickly as possible.
