KPL (KPL) President Thongloun Sisoulith sent on Sunday, May 20, a condolence message to the Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei regarding the helicopter crash on May 19.

(KPL) President Thongloun Sisoulith sent on Sunday, May 20, a condolence message to the Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei regarding the helicopter crash on May 19.

The message read: “I am deeply saddened to learn of the death of President Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, and members of the accompanying team in a helicopter crash on May 19, 2024.

On behalf of the Lao people and Government, I would like to express deepest condolences and sympathies to the people and Government of Iran, especially to the bereaved families of the victims in this tragedy.

May the souls of President Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and members of the accompanying team in the helicopter crash rest in peace.”
