Leaders pay homage to national heroes in celebrating 48th National Day

KPL (KPL) Party Secretary General and State President Thongloun Sisoulith led Party and government leaders including Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone and President of the National Assembly Xaysomphone Phomvihane in placing a wreath at the Unknown Heroes' Monument in Vientiane to pay respect to those who sacrificed for the cause of national liberation in celebrating the 48th National Day (Dec 2, 1975-2023) of the Lao PDR.


(KPL) Party Secretary General and State President Thongloun Sisoulith led Party and government leaders including Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone and President of the National Assembly Xaysomphone Phomvihane in placing a wreath at the Unknown Heroes' Monument in Vientiane to pay respect to those who sacrificed for the cause of national liberation in celebrating the 48th National Day (Dec 2, 1975-2023) of the Lao PDR.

The leaders also placed a flower basket at a statue of late President Kaysone Phomvihane to mark the late president’s 103rd birth anniversary (Dec 13, 1920-2023).
