The release stated that the reagent kit created by Russian specialists is very effective, and among the 25 different viruses it detects are influenza and Covid-19, the agency’s press service reported.
The kit also allows for detecting all major pathogens of acute respiratory viral infections, particularly enteroviruses, adenoviruses, rhinoviruses, metapneumoviruses, respiratory syncytial virus, and bocaviruses.
“This is the first test registered in Russia with such a wide range of diagnoses,” the text affirmed, which underscored that the testing system is highly accurate and allows doctors to diagnose and prescribe treatment quickly.
