KPL In celebration of the 163rd anniversary of International Red Cross and Red Crescent Day (8 May 1863 – 2026), the public is invited to take part in a meaningful humanitarian act: donating blood to save lives.


The blood donation drive will take place on 6 May 2026 at the Lao ITECC, 5th Floor, from 8.30 am to 4.00 pm.
Organisers extend a warm invitation to all individuals with a humanitarian spirit to come forward and be part of this life-giving initiative. Each donation can help save multiple lives, providing a new chance for patients in need of urgent medical care.
International Red Cross and Red Crescent Day is observed annually to honour the principles of humanity, impartiality, neutrality and voluntary service. This year's anniversary serves as a reminder of the power of collective action and compassion.
Community members are encouraged to bring a friend or family member and contribute to this vital cause. Together, small acts of kindness can create a ripple effect of hope and healing.
