The delegation was led by Mr Phoxay Xayasone, Member of the Party Central Committee and Minister of Labour and Social Welfare, and Mr Xaysana Khotphouthone, Secretary of the Khammuan Provincial Party Committee.
Campaign Highlights
During the event, attendees were briefed on the candidates' professional biographies. The candidates presented their past achievements and shared their visions for public service, underlining the National Assembly's vital role as a body that represents the rights and interests of the people.
Key Electoral Information
In Constituency 12 (Khammuan Province), 14 candidates (including three women) are contesting the election. Of these, four represent the central level and ten are local representatives. Voters will be tasked with selecting 10 members from this list.
The campaign is scheduled to continue until 20 February, with the official election day set for 22 February 2026. Following the engagement in Thakhek, the candidates are due to meet with citizens in Hinboun District on 12 February.
