Foreign Minister to Visit the Philippines

KPL In response to the invitation of Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the Philippines Maria Theresa Lazaro, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Lao PDR Thongsavanh Phomvihane will lead a Lao delegation to attend the ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Retreat and related meetings.

In response to the invitation of Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the Philippines Maria Theresa Lazaro, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Lao PDR Thongsavanh Phomvihane will lead a Lao delegation to attend the ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Retreat and related meetings.

The meetings will be chaired by the Philippines under the theme “Navigating Our Future, Together” from 28 to 29 January 2026 in Cebu, Philippines.

The Lao minister will also hold bilateral meetings with several ASEAN counterparts.
